Frequently Asked Questions - Furniture Manufacturing

What kind of wood should I use to manufacture a piece of furniture?

The choice of wood depends on many factors such as from where we want to use the furniture (e.g. exterior, bathrooms etc), to the kind of patina we want it to be, or even on the style we want to give the place (e.g. country, retro, island style etc.) that is the reason why we should ask an expert.

The wood of the furniture may have a crack in the future, is this normal?

All kinds of wood are living organisms and are affected by the conditions which are exposed to (e.g. humidity, drought etc.). There is possibility furniture which is manufactured of solid wood to have a crack in the future, this is happening due to the contraction- expansion of the wood and it can be repaired relatively easy. Suitable kinds of wood for manufacturing a piece of furniture are those which contain less than 6% moisture.
